Helicopter Lesson Explorer
Hovering in a helicopter for the first time is a unique and thrilling sensation. You get hands-on experience of the only flying machine that goes backwards and sideways as well as forwards. Guided by a CAA qualified instructor, you will also be assessed for your potential to become a helicopter pilot. Your flying counts towards a helicopter Pilot’s license. Includes one to one training from a CAA licensed instructor, introductory briefing on helicopter controls and safety and one cross country flight of 40-60 minutes in a 2-seater helicopter during which the student takes the controls. The experience lasts approx. 1.5 to 2 hours.
