This DJ-ing experience will take you through the steps needed to be able to put together a working DJ set that can be performed in front of a live crowd. The experience will include guidance from a top DJ in understanding the techniques used in both club mixing and scratch battle style. You’ll be shown the techniques involved in monitoring, beat matching, mixing, scratching, needle dropping, cueing, cutting, EQ and effects, and will get to try out these techniques yourself. This opportunity is all about hands-on experience. The package also includes a DVD showing what you will learn on the day for you to take away, a recorded CD of your set and a photograph of you DJ-ing. The experience lasts up to 2 hours.
