Finding the perfect jewellery to match an outfit can be a nightmare. Everything you see will be the wrong colour, the wrong size or length, or too shiny… what’s a girl to do? Why not learn the skills and techniques of designing and making your very own hand-crafted jewellery? Spend the day at the UK’s first Fashion Jewellery School™ learning the key techniques and trade secrets for creating your own fabulous accessories. The jewellery instructor and their team of staff will help you and the other participants progress from design concept through to creation. They’ll guide you throughout the day, and provide you with all the beautiful beads, chain, metal charms and trinkets, as well as all the tools and assistance you need. Lunch is included, and you’ll leave armed with new skills and of course with all the fabulous jewellery you’ve made on the day!

Segway Thrill Explorer
Discover the sheer joy of these electric all-terrain personal transporters. Fast, fun and highly manoeuverable, 2-wheel transport will never be the same again! You’ll be amazed at the way the Segway balances itself perfectly to keep you upright and in complete control. They’re designed to mirror the process of human walking, so if the rider standing on a Segway leans forward, offsetting the balance, this clever little gizmo then moves forward to regain its balance just as human legs do to balance the body when walking. Computers and motors in the base of the device keep the Segway PT upright at all times. Steering is easy, you lean forward to go forward, lean back to go backward, and turn by using a "Lean Steer" handlebar, leaning it left or right. Five gyroscopic sensors and two tilt sensors are used to detect tilting of the device which indicates any departure from perfect balance, and these are supported by dual computers running specially-designed software at a rate of around 100 processes per second. But never mind the technical stuff, these things are FUN!
