'Les Miserables' Kids' Club
This is great way to try out acting and learn all about the theatre at one of the most successful shows in the world. First of all, before the day, you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellan) so that you're familiar with the story. The big day starts off with a fantastic three-hour kids' workshop. This includes a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games that will bring out your inner star. The workshop ends which a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast and a certificate to take home. A packed lunch with a sandwich, crisps, apple and juice is included (sorry but special dietary needs can't be catered for, so bring your own lunch if you prefer). Then in the afternoon, you'll watch a matinee performance of the hit musical.

They're both packed with drama and pathos - and great tunes. The experience will start with a tour of the theatre's backstage areas where you'll be shown round by a member of staff, get to see the nitty-gritty of a working theatre and learn about the show and the stars. Whisky Tasting Masterclass for Two
Whisky has a certain mystique surrounding it (which is a nice way of saying that lots of people get very pretentious about it) but if you enjoy a wee dram now and then, and you want to learn a bit more without drowning in jargon, then this is the experience for you. You'll taste six excellent whiskies in turn, guided by your experienced host, who'll help you discover and appreciate the diversity of whisky and the different characters of different types. You'll also receive a whisky companion book to take home. Additionally you will be issued with vouchers (valid up to six months) to allow you to come back another day and explore Vinopolis at your own pace. It's a whole centre dedicated to the world of wine and classic drinks, with lots to learn and lots more to taste - you'll taste five excellent wines on your return and a Bombay Sapphire cocktail. All in all a very pleasant way to spend a day.
