Whisky Tasting Masterclass
Whisky has a certain mystique surrounding it (which is a nice way of saying that lots of people get very pretentious about it) but if you enjoy a wee dram now and then, and you want to learn a bit more without drowning in jargon, then this is the experience for you. You'll taste six excellent whiskies in turn, guided by your experienced host, who'll help you discover and appreciate the diversity of whisky and the different characters of different types. You'll also receive a whisky companion book to take home. Additionally you will be issued with a voucher (valid up to six months) to allow you to come back another day and explore Vinopolis at your own pace. It's a whole centre dedicated to the world of wine and classic drinks, with lots to learn and lots more to taste - you'll taste five excellent wines on your return and a Bombay Sapphire cocktail. All in all a very pleasant way to spend a day.

Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye For Four
Should you go on a sight-seeing cruise on the Thames? Or are the views best from the London Eye? Or should you just cut to the chase and have a nice lunch somewhere? With this experience you can do all three. You'll board Bateaux London's river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment Pier. Then relax on board and enjoy a three course lunch with a glass of wine, followed by tea or coffee. But don't let the great food distract you from the fabulous views, as you cruise past the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many more iconic landmarks. After lunch you'll be dropped off just a few steps from the London Eye. You may have to queue a bit here, but it'll certainly be worth it when you climb aboard your air-conditioned capsule. The Eye slowly turns, giving you sensational panoramic views across London from 135 metres up. Whether you're new to the capital or a born and bred Londoner, this is a fantastic way to enjoy the sights from two unique perspectives.

Tea Tasting and Blending for Ten with Alex Probyn - Master Tea Blender
A good cup of tea is as much a part of contemporary British culture as a trip to the local curry house. Everyone loves a cuppa, but how much do you actually know about what you're drinking? Has your tea gone through the 'cut, tear, curl' process or the orthodox process? And just what is the difference between black tea and oolong tea? Who better to explain all than Alex Probyn, a master tea blender who has tasted over a million cups of tea... and counting! (Not bad considering that the average person will drink 50,000 cups in their lifetime.) After talking about the history, origin, manufacture and different styles of tea, you'll taste a combination of up to 24 teas, including white, green, oolong, black, herbal and teas of the world. Alex will teach you the art of slurping and spitting (all in the best possible taste) and then you'll get the chance to put your new-found skills into practice by creating your very own blend each to take home with you.

Thames Sightseeing Cruise and The Tower of London
Leave the tube to the stressed-out commuters for a more relaxing way of travelling around London, enjoying the sights on a river cruiser along the Thames. Board a city cruiser and head down the river to Greenwich. The cruise gives you a real insight into the layers of history that have built up along the river, an amazing mixture of the old and the new, with great views of the Houses of Parliament, Tate Modern, St Paul's and many more London landmarks. Any time you want, you can hop off the boat at any one of four piers, go and explore and then hop back on later. Tickets to the Tower of London, the magnificent medieval fortress on the north bank of the Thames by Tower Bridge, are also included in this experience. The Tower is one of London's must-see attractions; teeming with history, it has been a royal residence, a prison and the scene of many executions (no wonder there's so many ghosts...). It's also home to the fabulous Crown Jewels. This experience is for one person.
