Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye

Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye
Should you go on a sight-seeing cruise on the Thames? Or are the views best from the London Eye? Or should you just cut to the chase and have a nice lunch somewhere? With this experience you can do all three. You'll board Bateaux London's river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment Pier. Then relax on board and enjoy a three course lunch with a glass of wine, followed by tea or coffee. But don't let the great food distract you from the fabulous views, as you cruise past the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many more iconic landmarks. After lunch you'll be dropped off just a few steps from the London Eye. You may have to queue a bit here, but it'll certainly be worth it when you climb aboard your air-conditioned capsule. The Eye slowly turns, giving you sensational panoramic views across London from 135 metres up. This is a fantastic way to enjoy the sights from two unique perspectives. This experience is for one person.

Powerboat Racing Day
You know how most James Bond films include at least one great chase down a river? This experience is your chance to have a go at driving the sorts of boats Bond uses (just without the hail of bullets). You'll start off with a safety briefing and an introduction to the boats, and then have a two-hour session in the OSY Hydroplanes. Driven either kneeling or lying down, these are the go-karts of the powerboat world - small, fast and terrific fun. After a hot buffet lunch you'll receive a short briefing on the boats that you'll be driving in the afternoon. Then you'll be back on the water, trying out Formula 4 and 5 catamarans and T850 and T750 monohulls - all of which are race-prepared, high-performance single-seater boats powered by outboard engines. Finish the day with tea, and collect your certificate and souvenir T-shirt. The day is organised by a world speed record holder, so you'll be in excellent hands, Mr Bond.
