Family Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye
Should you go on a sight-seeing cruise on the Thames? Or are the views best from the London Eye? Or should you just cut to the chase and have a nice lunch somewhere? With this experience you can do all three. You'll board Bateaux London's river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment Pier. Then relax on board and enjoy a three course lunch with a glass of wine for the adults and unlimited soft drinks for the kids, followed by tea or coffee. But don't let the great food distract you from the fabulous views, as you cruise past the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many more iconic landmarks. 'Les Miserables' Kids' Club Family Day for Eight
Let the kids have some fun while mums and dads get some grown-up time. First of all, before the day, you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellan) so that you're familiar with the story. The big day starts off with a fantastic three-hour workshop for the children - no adults allowed! This includes a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games that will bring out your inner stars. The workshop ends which a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast and a certificate to take home. A packed lunch with a sandwich, crisps, apple and juice is included (sorry but special dietary needs can't be catered for, so bring your own lunch if you prefer). Meanwhile, parents are free to enjoy London, returning to the theatre in time for the whole family to watch a matinee performance of the hit musical.
