Trout Fly Fishing

Trout Fly Fishing
A day fishing with Charles Jardine, one of the finest fishermen of his generation, is a real fly fishing education! Charles is full of enthusiasm for the sport, and his expert knowledge is bound to improve your fishing skills. Your day starts with coffee and a tackle talk and informal Q and A with Charles. Then you'll head outside for a demonstration of casting and fishing techniques. Next you'll tackle up and get a feel for the equipment you'll be using. After a short break for a cold buffet lunch, head out to the lakes. Charles and his expert team will be on hand to give you tips on best flies and tactics, covering everything from tackle innovations to casting to fly tying, with plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions. You'll be fishing lakes in a private fishery at the head of the beautiful Itchen Valley, where the waters are well stocked with rainbow and brown trout, as well as the rarer blue trout. You can also take home two of the fish you catch at the end of the day.

'Les Miserables' Kids' Club Family Day for Four
Let the kids have some fun while mum and dad get some grown-up time. First of all, before the day, you'll be sent a synopsis of the show on CD (read by Sir Ian McKellan) so that you're familiar with the story. The big day starts off with a fantastic three-hour workshop for the children - no adults allowed! This includes a backstage tour of the theatre and a drama workshop based on improvisational games that will bring out your inner stars. The workshop ends which a re-enactment of a scene from the show, using real costumes and props, plus a chance to quiz a real member of the Les Mis cast and a certificate to take home. A packed lunch with a sandwich, crisps, apple and juice is included (sorry but special dietary needs can't be catered for, so bring your own lunch if you prefer). Meanwhile, parents are free to enjoy London, returning to the theatre in time for the whole family to watch a matinee performance of the hit musical.

Cowboy Trail Riding Adventure for Three
Discover your inner cowboys or cowgirls on this great trail ride in the New Forest, England's answer to the Wild West (more trees, not so many cacti). You'll be riding a beautiful Western Paint horse, western-style - this style of riding is easier to learn and feels more secure than riding English-style, so it's great even for beginners. And those cowboys had to spend all day in the saddle, so they made darn sure it was comfortable! The stresses of everyday life will drift away as you head off on a two-hour trail through beautiful countryside, led by experienced wranglers. Back at the ranch, enjoy a barbecue meal and plenty of hot coffee. Rawhide!

Thames Lunch Cruise and London Eye
Should you go on a sight-seeing cruise on the Thames? Or are the views best from the London Eye? Or should you just cut to the chase and have a nice lunch somewhere? With this experience you can do all three. You'll board Bateaux London's river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment Pier. Then relax on board and enjoy a three course lunch with a glass of wine, followed by tea or coffee. But don't let the great food distract you from the fabulous views, as you cruise past the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many more iconic landmarks. After lunch you'll be dropped off just a few steps from the London Eye. You may have to queue a bit here, but it'll certainly be worth it when you climb aboard your air-conditioned capsule. The Eye slowly turns, giving you sensational panoramic views across London from 135 metres up. This is a fantastic way to enjoy the sights from two unique perspectives. This experience is for one person.
