Outdoor Grand Prix Go Karting For Four
In these days of touchy-feely fairness, it's not often you get to unleash your competitive side. So try karting for an evening of fast and furiously competitive fun. This fantastic outdoor circuit is where a lot of top F1 drivers, including Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, first got into racing before being lured away by the big bucks. You'll be behind the wheel of a Pro 390cc Kart, which reaches speeds of up to 70mph (and believe us, that will feel twice as fast in a kart). The group are split into lightweights and heavyweights - done to ensure a level playing field, as driver weight makes a big difference in these little machines. Start off with a video and safety briefing, followed by qualifying laps to get used to the karts and the 1,200m outdoor international circuit. Then let your competitive streak loose in three quick-fire race heats. The leading points scorers go on to take part in the grand final, followed by a trophy presentation for the top three drivers.

Kids Powerboating
For kids who love speed and water there can be few more exciting experiences available. Leave the adults on dry land and prepare for the most thrilling ride of your life. The Honda Formula 4-stroke championship (HF4S) is the largest, most exciting offshore powerboat series in the world - these boats are responsive, manoeuvrable and so fast that they simply fly over the surface. It's wet and windy and much more fun than being at school! You'll start off with a safety briefing and an introduction to the boat, then it's time to get changed into the safety gear provided. Your instructor (usually a current or veteran racer) will give you full and comprehensive instruction on how to handle the child friendly Honda and in no time you'll be putting the boat through her paces around an offshore racing track. You'll get around twenty minutes of hands on driving time (at the skippers discretion).
