You then take to the sky, climbing to up to 1500 feet above ground level in a flexwing (open cockpit) or fixed wing (closed cockpit - similar to a mini plane) aircraft (please state preference at time of booking). The instructor will demonstrate the controls and then, if the instructor is happy, the controls will be passed to you. Happy flying! About Microlighting Flying Experience When can you go? Selected Monday to Sunday dates, which vary depending on the venue, all year. How long does the activity last? Your total experience will last for approximately 1 hour, with 20 to 30 minutes in the microlight. You need to know You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this activity. Max weight 89-105kg (14-16 ½ stone) depending on the location. Max height 1.95m.
